FASTAG is highly evolving day by day ! Below are some FAQs which you can read to better understand a FASTAG card

FASTag is a device that employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments directly from the prepaid account linked to it. It is affixed on the windscreen of your vehicle and enables you to drive through toll plazas, without stopping for cash transactions. The tag has a validity of 5 years and after purchasing, you only need to recharge/ top up the tag as per your requirement.
Ease of payment No need to carry cash for the toll transactions, saves time . Online Recharge Tag can be recharged online through Credit Card / Debit Card or Net banking . SMS & Email alerts for toll transactions, low balance, etc.
In case ETC equipment are not working and your FASTag account is having sufficient balance, please pay the toll fee in cash at the plaza. Additionally, please call our customer care or 1033 helpline to report the issue with the concessionaire.
The monthly pass facility is specific to each toll plaza. You may call our customer care @ 1800 120 1243 to check the details.
No, there is no minimum recharge amount for recharge
You will need to take two separate FASTags for the two vehicles
You will need to call our customer care number to block your FASTag and have your FASTag re-issued by paying Rs. 200 as re-issuance charge. Your wallet balance will remain the same.
You will receive an SMS & Email alert in your registered phone number and email address each time a balance is deducted from your FASTag account.
You can report an incorrect deduction by calling us at our call center. We will review your request and if found correct, we will refund the incorrect deduction.
We are exploring ways to use these tags for ETC , however it will require some new technical development. It will also be subject to tag being in proper condition without any damage or tampering.
FASTag can be used on all toll plazas where it has been implemented. You can check the list of Plazas
